This is not fine dining - but by far the best sub shop in the area.
Also, if Mr. Klippel makes cheesecake (NY Style) rush in and buy some because its also the best in the area.
This is a family run establishment. Small deli. The biggest part of business here is undoubtedly the high school kids that come up for lunch and after school. He also does Hot specials most weekdays. The establishment is closed on Sundays.
He has a fryer and is quite able to cook any variety of things. He makes fantastic corn beef and cabbage. His subs are amazing. This place makes subway look like dumpster diving.
That ham salad is tasty. The fish and chips are fantastic. He makes a mean hot roast beef sandwich. And the prices are cheap.
I don't eat meat anymore - but if I did when I was in Northville this would be high on my list. -

If you're in the mood for some home style cooking, this is a great choice. It is not fancy, but the food is always good! Daily specials include Soup, salad, sandwiches or a full dinner plate. The food is prepared well with good quality ingredients. Also, the baked goods are baked on premises and are truly delicious! I love the homemade muffins, especially when they're still warm! The price is right and is family friendly.

Cross between a deli and restaurant. Causal dining. Lots of sandwiches, burgers, lots of kids from the high school. Very friendly staff. Pretty busy on a monday. Lots of locals eat here. Great little place.

I didn't know there was anything in Northville much less in the offseason but Kozy is top notch. It's a step up from your normal sandwich joint with daily specials including stuffed peppers, broccoli alfredo and more. My Royale wrap was so good. Grilled chicken, carmalized onions, ranch and cheese in a warm tortilla. No complaints, service was great too. This place is off the beaten path but if you are hungry and in the area don't pass it by.

What Aaron said. The subs are great and they do an excellent job with fried items. They also have daily specials of wraps with fanciful combinations of ingredients... not my thing but I am glad the kitchen is trying and creating instead of just going through the motions. Also, they have quality cole slaw which is sold by the half-pound for some low price... get a tub and eat some with your meal, take the rest for later.
Warning: they are CLOSED on Sunday. I've also gone by at times when I thought they'd be open but it was dark. So don't get your mouth too set for Klippel's because you might face disappointment.
